Unhappy Losing weight without exercise - 11-03-2007, 07:10 AM

I am wondering if it is possible. The reason I am asking is, I have a medical condition that effects my ability to breathe, basically my airway is partially blocked and even walking up a flight of stairs sends me in to panic mode! I do try to walk occassionally, but I can never get it to a good pace, nor can I go out for very long. Am I doomed?

Hey anglwng125 , your answer is yes! you can lose weight without exercising. If you eat a clean, strict diet for a long period time that is the key to weight-loss. 5 meals a day, small to moderate size portions to keep the metabolism flying. Plus the perfect amount of macronutrients (carbs, protein and fats)

Thanks Paul! I am trying to work up my stamina, but it helps to know I can still lose!

Glad to hear that. I dislike exercising for the sake of exercising. The only exercise I get is working in the yard in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter. That can be very sporadic.
