Default vegan diet - 01-12-2009, 01:39 PM

I am a type 2 diabetic, and read a book on eating a vegan diet to help lower and possible eliminate the need for medicines. Are there any recipes that I can access to create my own menus? When I put in certain filters for the food category, even though I specified no dairy or meats, my menus still show them.

Hello,

If you filter out red meats, it should not have meats. If you filter out red meats, poultry, shellfish ....then it might still bring up some poultry or fish, because it might not be able to create a diet for you if it didnt have some of those foods in your diet plan. Make sure your using the meal replacement option. A little bit of meats wont throw anything off if your a diabetic.
